¿Mensajes políticos subliminales en High School Musical?

Un lector anónimo nos envió la siguiente información:

“Haciendo zapping encontré en un canal infantil de cable un capítulo de High School Musical. Me llamó la atención y me quedé mirando. Estaban cantando una canción. Y le puse atención a la letra. Inmediatamente noté que no era una típica letra de canción adolescente, tenía un contenido muy especial, aquí va:

“Stick to the stuff you know
If you wanna be cool
Follow one simple rule
Don’t mess with the flow, no no
Stick to the status quo”

“No, no, no
Stick to the stuff you know
It is better by far
To keep things as they are
Don’t mess with the flow, no no
Stick to the status quo”

No sé ustedes, pero considerando que esta canción fue escrita por adultos para un público infantil y adolescente, el mensaje me resulta muy claro. Mi interpretación es que se trata de un descarado mensaje en contra de la movilidad social. Si eres un pobre desafortunado, quédate tal cual. Si eres un middle class, quédate tal cual. Si eres un high class, quédate tal cual. Y si pretenden cambiar algo, “we gotta get things back where they belong”. Por favor, si estoy demasiado paranoico, avísenme.
Nota: Y me acabo de acordar que High School Musical ha sido siempre fuertemente difundido por Canal 13. ¿Coincidencia?”
