Alexander Gerst, astronauta y geofísico de la Agencia Espacial Europea, partió en mayo de este año a la Estación Espacial Internacional, donde a la par de desarrollar diversas investigaciones científicas, se dedica a inmortalizar la privilegiada vista que tiene de nuestro planeta. El alemán se ha destacado por trasmitir activamente las vivencias de los astronautas en las redes sociales, incluso respondiendo en vivo y periódicamente las preguntas de los cibernautas a través de Faceboook, en el marco de la iniciativa "Espacio Social".
